This is my first post on here to get things going.

This blog is for my personal amusement, to write about things I like and to moan about things that I don’t.

It is not my intention to change (or, should I say “influence”) anyone’s opinion. You are entitled to your own as I am to mine. Thank goodness we don’t all think alike otherwise the World would be a boring place.

It is not my intention to sell anything or to earn affiliate link money or other benefits. None of my posts will be ads. I might change my mind about this in the future and will note ads and affiliate links accordingly. If I link to a product, I will not be earning anything from that link.

Some of my interests that I hope to write about are

• Fountain pens and ink
• Journals and other stationery
• Visits to libraries, museums and galleries
• Swimming, swimming pools (particularly lidos) and archery
• Urban sketching (if I ever get time)

Things I am likely to moan about

• London’s public transport system
• Swimming pools
• General levels of service, particularly parcel deliveries
• Scentences starting with “So,…”

I have another website www.lidosoflondon.net that is actually about lidos of the UK but “scope creep” could be my tagline. I’m experimenting here so that I can switch from Squarespace to here soon.
